Kelvin's interest in art started at a very early age. His first training in painting was in watercolor, which he still does when traveling. He keeps a travel log painted in sketch and watercolor, which vividly illustrated places he visited around the world. His current interest is in design and oil painting. For years, he takes painting and design classes in the evenings at Art Center in Pasadena, a renowned college for design.
Being an artist is only one of the many facets of Kelvin's life. He got his Ph.D. degree from the Wharton Business School, became an international executive for an American multinational company. To fulfill his dream of designing and manufacturing his own products of the highest quality, Kelvin started his own company which imports gift items and manufactures enamel products designed by him. Because of his skills in management and quality control, he was able to revive the craft of enameling and bring it to the highest quality possible while keeping the handmade tradition, and at the same time, providing hundreds of jobs to Chinese villagers. The enamel items manufactured and designed by him are truly products of love, creativity, labor and tradition.
